Quick Tips: Making a Last Minute Cheesy Holiday Card

With the Christmas and Kwanza right around the corner, and Hanukkah already passed, you probably already sent out holiday cards if that’s your thing. However, what if you forgot to send someone a card? Or what if you decide at the very last minute you want to send one out? What should you do? Make a quick eCard with iPiccy Photo Editor!

Step One: Take a Picture!

Whether or not you want to include yourself is up to you, but it should have something related to the holidays!

Step Two: Add a Border!

There are plenty of borders to choose from. Whether you decide to go with a basic border, or a one of our special holiday themed borders, you can’t go wrong.

If you don’t know how to make Borders in iPiccy:

  • Select Frames on the top menu
  • Pick your chosen border on the left side.
  • Adjust your color scheme accordingly, and frame size.
  • And there you are, you’ve made a border!

It’s also possible to combine two borders, like I did in the above picture, I created a basic frame with a red and green color scheme first and then added a green frame from the Holidays section on top.

Step Three: Add Some Text!

I personally have always preferred the cheesy holiday cards as opposed to the ones that looked too made up and fake, and that’s why I chose that font. However, iPiccy has a bunch of great fonts you could use, but my personal favorites for cheesy holiday cards are Fontdiner, Waltograph, and Mail Ray Stuff. Don’t limit yourself though, there are so many to choose from! Such as Swagger.

  • Click on “Blender: Layer photos, add text and stickers”
  • Click “Add Text”
  • Select your font and type your text
  • Place your text where you want it
